DEEPNESS
The deepness is being an unknown term for all of us. I don’t like poets much. And I won’t really tell something about it but some of you may think that I’ll say it. Sometimes people think talking about metaphysics is too way poetical and romantic. My topic today is a little bit this unknownness, a little bit metaphysics.
Nirvana was a mystery for me when I was young. The feeling it contains is a very deep space. Oh, yes I should make that clear!
I know some people. They are living in a big loneliness. Or I just see them in this way but anyway. The loneliness they live in makes me to feel unnecessary in this life. And they see life as a suffering. There’s no meaning of life.
Capitalism is a machine that keeps it’s slaves alive. This machine is making you to be happy when you work, consume, eat, drink etc. those symptoms gives us an idea: you are alive. Life is being a circle that if you do these things(work, consume, eat, drink etc.). Life circle is the only way to live.
The people I told you at the beginning, they are not in this life circle. So capitalism sees them as dead bodies. The deepness they have inside them is making this life meaningless for them.
I sometimes ask them how can I have it in me. The answer they are giving is that, it just happens on you, in you. Nobody can make it, even if you wanna have it.
And when I ask, how did you make it, they say that, it occurred in me. I didn’t want it to be in me. I didn’t wish that. It just happened and I couldn’t affect it.
Those people sometimes don’t accept this feeling in them. Because this is a very normal thing to have, they think.
In the book called Fathers and Sons, there’s Bazarov character. In one chapter he was saying that for his parents:
Their nothingness doesn’t bother them…
That’s 👆🏻 near what I want to tell you.
One of the odd things that capitalism serves us is Ikigai. I’m sure you’ve heard that before. If you haven’t it means; something, the meaning that gets you out of your bed. The aim, purpose, goal… words are like that.
Ikigai is a marketing trick. And capitalism uses cultural treasures like that. Another capitalism trick is, motivation. There’s nothing something like motivation. You just do your work or not. Making romanticism shouldn’t work but it works. Many people believe in this lie. If you really want motivation, here is it: money. Money makes system work. And sadly again with money, we lose our deepness to the life.
It’s very strange that, yes we lose the deepness by capitalism but it reminds us that again.
All the things going to be forgotten. They are gonna forget me, you, us. All gonna forget all. Everything arrogance, everything ash…
